Adapted & Senior Tours Portugal was born from the idea of its founder, with a degree in Tourism and a special sense to the problems of those who face mobility challenges, to help promote tourism for all.

Our company was created with the aim to empower those who face mobility challenges. Our service is for all who have reduced mobility, and for their family and friends. Most of our clients are seniors and people with physical disabilities. We use a specialized adapted vehicles, and design tours or help you choose trips to wheelchair-friendly destinations.



Whatever your mobility issue is, we invite you to discover an accessible Portugal, and to enjoy the best of our natural and cultural heritage.

Adapted & Senior takes you wherever you want to go. You can have your accessible holidays in Portugal by visiting historical towns, seaside villages, magical places, hidden villages, magnificent beaches, make a pilgrimage to Fátima or admire our rich and religious heritage, visit museums and World Heritage sites, and taste the typical Portuguese food, along with our best wines.

We also invite you to propose an itinerary of your choice, designed to meet your needs.

For an additional fee, we offer our clients the option to have nurse supervision during our tours.



The vehicle is fully equipped for handicapped and wheelchair access, with a Ricon hydraulic lift platform. The wheelchair is fixed to the vehicle floor by a security mechanism. The side door has an automatic electric lowered step to provide easier access. The vehicle is equipped with air conditioning, panoramic windows and a DVD player.

Our tours are carefully tailored taking into account the most interesting tourist attractions that have an easy access for wheelchairs.



At your request, Adapted & Senior provides private transfers. Our representative will meet you at the airport, hotel, or residence, with our adapted vehicle, to take you to your destination. see more »
