Sintra, Cascais, Estoril

Sintra is a magical place, masterfully combining the extreme natural beauty of landscapes and an entire ancient heritage. For centuries it has been the location of choice of humanists and aristocrats, travelers and writers. Lord Byron, the famous English poet, described Sintra like Eden on Earth. You will also have the opportunity to taste the famous travesseiros and queijadas of Sintra. We will start this tour by visiting the famous Queluz Palace. After this visit, we will stop in the old village of Sintra for a visit.

Along the sea we will stop at Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of continental Europe, which has fantastic panoramic views of the cliffs and the Atlantic Ocean with its beautiful nuances.

We continue to Cascais, Lisbon´s forward defense in the Middle Ages, the center of fishing and maritime trade, was the summer retreat of the monarchy and during World War II where the European royal families looked for exile. We will not forget the views from the famous beach of Guincho, the Boca do Inferno, the 17th-century Citadel, the charm of the bay with its beach and colored boats, the lively pedestrian streets, and Cascais marina.

Our accessible tour continues to Estoril, place that during and after World War II acquired a worldwide reputation of high glamour and sophistication, favored by the presence of some royal families of Europe. We will see the beautiful Palace Hotel and Casino Estoril, one of Europe’s biggest casinos, besides beaches that invite pleasant walks by the sea.
